Fastener Testing – The Brinell Hardness Test

Today’s state-of-the-art hardness testing machines can be used in the widest range of applications. They are based on technologies that use innovative mechatronic components for high-precision testing, particularly in quality assurance, production-line testing and in the laboratory.
The Brinell hardness testing method was developed by Swedish engineer, Johan August Brinell, in 1900 and is a commonly adopted test method used to determine the hardness of soft-to-medium hard metal.
