Metal Stampings & Fabrications Provider Celebrates 115 Years
Kickhaefer Manufacturing Company, LLC (KMC), headquartered in Port Washington, WI, USA, is celebrating 115 years in business in 2023. KMC started in 1908 as a small metal stamping and die-making shop on south side of Milwaukee, WI, USA, by Edward A. Kickhaefer. The company continues, as it did from the start, to serve a variety of the top best-known original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) worldwide.
KMC remained in Milwaukee until 1964, when the need for additional space took the company north of the city of Milwaukee into Grafton, WI, USA, where a new 30,000 ft2 plant was built, making KMC the premier employer in Ozaukee County. Continued growth brought KMC north again, this time to Port Washington, where the company was able to double its manufacturing capacity and has been a key employer in the community for over 45 years.
