Environmental Protection: AQUAZINC is a water-based finish. It is nonflammable and does not have a strong solvent odor. It is HAPS (Hazardous Air Pollutant) free and low in VOC (Volatile Organic Compound). AQUAZINC is environmentally friendly and meets RoHS, ELV, WEE guidelines.
Properties: The important characteristic of AQUAZINC is superior corrosion protection in comparison with electrolytically deposited zinc/zinc alloys. It can achieve 800 – 1000 hours salt spray (ASTM-B-117) over zinc phosphate and 1200 – 1500 hours salt spray over zinc plating. AQUAZINC has excellent inter-coat adhesion between multiple layers and is suitable for springs and high strength steel parts.
