Why the EV Industrial e-Energy Transmission Requires High-Tensile, High-Conductivity Fasteners
by Chang KUO TA, YHM Industries
The e-Energy transmission connection between power supply and control systems in electric vehicles (EV) requires high efficiency cables and lower heat loss fasteners to achieve higher energy input and output. Wire and cables use high-conductivity copper C1100, C1020, C1010 or OFC (oxygen-free copper). Normally the copper wire tensile strength is soft and not enough for connecter application. Electronic engineers selected some high-tensile copper alloys for application.
